I heard that back in the day they nixed the idea to getting Bart in Marin for fear that it will bring in the undesirables.
I always thought Marin was kind of prozaky, and avoided it at all costs. Then one day, circa 2005 I found myself in a Marin coffee shop eavesdropping on conversations. Two grandfatherly-looking men were trading Bush conspiracies. Gross!
