I often feel that hyper-corrective busing remedies to battle desegregation gave pedophilic priests in the Catholic church and education system a lot more power to bully their victims with. I notice that many cases occurred in archdioses such as Cleveland, Boston, and Chicago, where a kid could be scared away from reporting the priest if it meant having to go to an all-black school across town. I’m not at all denigrating the Catholic education experience.
