Some are even trying to argue that he is the most liberal member of the Senate (as they did with Kerry) which is flat out ridiculous.
Jeb @Jul 16, 2008 – 6:29 pmYou have Obama’s paper trail to show otherwise?
The accusation (if that is the appropriate word) keeps being made with no support. The claim that he is the most liberal candidate to run for president was made again in this post with absolutely no support. Calling BS on unsupported allegations does not require extensive support. Making those claims is what requires support. If I make an allegation about McCain it is my obligation to support it, not your obligation to prove it wrong.
Boxer, Feinstein, Kennedy, Levin, McCaskill, Murray and a few others are all near to Obama or slightly to his left on most major issues facing us today. This was true before Obama and McCain both started to tack to the center for the general. The most liberal X is always brought out to scare the R base and if Clinton had won the primary we would no doubt be told by these same people how she was the most liberal person ever to run for president and how she is the most liberal member of the senate. It is ridiculous.
