Good luck getting the American electorate to notice BHO’s policy flip-flops. Only a candidate as stupid as John “I voted for the war before I voted against it” Kerry will ever be called on his change of position. The majority of Obama’s primary supporters are of the “Bush Lied, People Died” variety, who want a President who will surrender and leave Iraq a/s/a/p. The danger to Obama is that his new policy (the real fight against terrorism is in Afghanistan) is likely to have very limited appeal to the anti-war crowd. They will go along with him through November but will then want us to withdraw from both Iraq and Afghanistan. To them, freedom and our way of life is worth anything except fighting for. McCain is too liberal on too many issues and over-ripe, but he will not surrender in Iraq and has a 50% chance of appointing conservative judges (as opposed to a 0% chance that B. Hussein Obama will do so). Not a great choice but still a clear choice for conservatives.
