Attacking Obama’s hypocritical snobbery is fine, but the anti-intellectual, lowbrow tone of this article disturbs me. I spent many years learning to speak two foreign languages, and I’m proud of that. As a Catholic, I’m delighted to be able to address fellow believers in their own languages.
Ignorance is not something on which to pride oneself.
