My wife called to say that she and #4 son drove over to ORD to see the A380 land there about a hour ago. She said that in addition to being ‘huge’ it is practically and suddenly silent. She said as they drove along Irving Park Rd (along the south boundry), it just seemed to appear without the noise you’d expect of any commercial plane. She was very excited.
