I disagree, Fred. Obama has no idea about the situation of the poor. When he went to church in Chicago, he saw votes, not humans engaged in a day-to-day struggle to survive and so desperate they were willing to embrace a bizarre pastor spewing black liberation theology.
The poor are simply a means to an end and will join the swelling numbers under the Obama bus when it is their turn.
