Hmmm, let’s see:
Byrd says, “I am confident that the hottest places in hell are reserved for sick and brutal people who hold God’s creatures in such brutal and cruel contempt.” He and others beg that we “end the slaughter” of these creatures.
Obama has no problem with late term abortions. That would be the destruction of fully formed human beings. A cruel and brutal procedure. In fact, he goes further than that. Further than almost all other radical lefties. He has opposed, both verbally on the floor of the state senate and with his vote (we know how rare that was for him), to disallow life-sustaining aid to an infant that survived an abortion.
I’ve always thought it odd that some people seem to care more about the treatment of animals than human beings. Obama doesn’t mind treating babies cruelly and brutally. Perhaps he shares Byrd’s concern, though, for animals.
