“Allah’s law is not to be penetrated by the intelligence”
Islam more often than not discourages intellectual inquiries of any sort. This is probably the number one reason for the decline of the Muslim world in the last half century. A fervent Muslim adherent is disinclined to even study the hard sciences. The research supposedly insults God by somehow asserting he cannot change the laws of the universe at any given moment. It is very fair to suggest that the Islamic faith may be inherently anti-intellectual. In many ways, one can actually argued that the mainstream Judeo-Christian traditions experienced significant evolutions in the last one thousand years—and nothing more. Islam will truly have to undergo an ideological revolution of major proportions.
