Oh, for crying out loud. Get a grip.
Two things.
(1) The whitehouse said weeks ago that obama would probably not be going to the royal wedding due to the impact that his security would have on the event:

That article says that barack won’t be going, but michelle probably will. I don’t see any quotes from the daily mail’s “source” that says otherwise. To wit:

(2) The palace has already made it clear that they don’t want it to be a state occasion, and they want to go all proletariat and ask normal people instead of heads of state. I think they’re also trying to keep the cost down, because the royals just aren’t as cashed-up as they used to be and the UK is slashing spending across the board.
Maybe everyone should just calm down and let the Obama Derangement Syndrome subside. Or, if you REALLY care about royal wedding arrangements, at least wait until the guest list has been published. Then you can all be horrified about who DOES turn up, rather than who doesn’t.
In the meantime, ask yourselves … will OPRAH be there?
