OK the POTUS is a boor but that has nothing to do with being invited or not. He is not family, he is not friend, he is not royalty. The United States will be ably represented by the Ambassador to the court of St.James as will the non royalty head of state of every other country.
It is a mark of the remarkable unreal expectations of the man that he (no evidence given), the United States but mostly the media feel this is a snub. Everyone, get over yourselves.
