i agree with david – there is no evidence that we can get the iranian people(s) to rise up against the mullahs in the time-frame we need them to. how’re we going to know the dissidents we deliver money to are being used by the dissidents or being diverted to the mullahs? what happens if this doesn’t work, as it very well may not, and in the meantime the islamic revolution gets the bomb? the calculations would change pretty quickly, no?
