I’m reminded of the school in C.S. Lewis’ “The Silver Chair,” which was very Progressive, so that if you got in trouble you were sent to the office and they talked with you, and if you said the right things they said you were interesting and talked with you more instead of punishing you. Lewis put it better, of course, but that’s the gist of it.
