I’m pro American,so dont get this wrong. but its funny when majority of people in the US dont know their own history, companies like WB now seem interested in outher nations’. Frank Miller was a cartoonist after all, NOT an intellectual, he better stick to what he knows: drawing, and leaves history to the experts. i bet Frank Miller came up with the book only after a shallow skim over the history. go on about what you wanna say, but that disgusting homo looking freak with all those piercings in his FACE, is far from an image of XERCES the GREAT.if frank miller or director needed imagination/inspiration,they couldve used the history and change the names for their own version, but when you enter a territory that doesnt belong to you (history as opposed to POP Culture), you better be honest, or else its just a CHEAP movie with lots of Special Effects. its disgustingly cheap. that book is cheap too. after all who reads all those comic books these days? bunch of 40 year olds who have the brain of a 10 year old.
