To SK: So you’re saying the Nazies didn’t have an active propaganda machine which also utilized film to propagate race superiority? Or are you suggesting the only time one is allowed to “invoke” them is when you see fit, such as in reference to A-nejad? And you further are saying whatever lies they say about your culture, your people, your history, it’s perfectly alright, and rather than objecting to the source of the lies we just grin and bear it and at best go make our own movie??? Huh???? Are you for real?

Either way, you don’t have the power, the intellect, the argument, the facts or anything to declare moot anything that has been said here. I’ll say it whether you like it or not. The rest of your post puts your ignorance of history on display. I have seen the movies like “Birth of a Nation” in which blacks were portayed as savage murderers who could only be saved by the brave and chivalrous KKK?? Do you think you could actually make that movie today and tell blacks to shut up and accept it and go make their own movies if they like? Even if they took your childish advice, do you think it would help if blacks made their own racist movies to counter what was done to them? How ignorant.

Your point about “portraying ancient Persians in an unflattering way is just the sort of rhetoric that I don’t like” is a laugh. Frankly, who cares what you like. The point is you’re missing the point. Nobody is complaining about portraying anyone in an “unflattering way”. The complaints are about taking historical facts and blatantly twisting, distoring, and turning them so upside down so grotesquely is beyond offensive. No minority would sit idly by and take such distortions quietly. As much as you’d like for the rest of browns to sit down and shut up, take the advice yourself and stop telling us to like lies. You go like lies about your people, and I’m beginning to have a clue who those people are. Racists.
