This move is certainly produced to make money, first, and then possibly provides some entertainment, assuming no political motives and biased views were the driving force as well. Based on these two primary objectives, its writers and producers distorted history and historical characters to overcome their own lack of creativity. Obviously, ethics and credibility were not the issues for them. I think a core question here is that whether this movie indirectly promotes bigotry and intolerance. Obviously someone thought so; otherwise the whole controversy would not have begun.
