To those people who miss the point and complain about the criticism: if you’re going to make a fantasy, why must you twist history and do it during very tense times, something that has gross repercussions for the whole world? At a tense time like this when Iran and Iranians are under attack because of the despotic regime that happens to be sucking its blood, twisting history so blatantly only poisons the mind of an American public that’s most ignorant of its own history, let alone the 2500 year old history of another country. I bet Jews (and other civilized people with a conscience) wouldn’t have appreciated a movie in 1939 by Hitler in which Moses was portrayed as a racist, sexist, perverted, blood thirsty jackass. The Jews would have rightly identified the movie as a very threatening piece of propaganda meant to influence the mind of the public and would have vehemently objected to the twisting of their history. Imagine if a German would have told a Jew then “hey dude, relax, this is just a movie.” The fact of the matter is that Germans DID make propangda movies in which Jews were portrayed as parasidic and menacing, and we all know what happened afterward.
Take that example and apply it to your own ethnic group at a critical junture of history and see if you like it.
