Yes, there’s an enormous difference. The makers of the movie were, uhm, making a movie. A fantasy. A caricature. Ahmadinejad is destroying a country and a culture, and trying to take the rest of the world with it.
If Xerxes was as pathetically impressionable as is claimed here, then he deserves the treatment he got in 300.
