Converting to Islam will give them a personal relationship with a God who loves them and takes care of them, in place of the aimless universe of the modern world where life is meaningless.
Instead of dressing to be a sex object, they dress to please God.
Even eating can be a way to praise the creator of life.
They also gain a community of believers who will welcome them to the fold, and help them feel loved and accepted, instead of the back biting and competitive consurmerism of the modern world.
True, she could have found the same by converting to Christianity, but it says a lot about the state of British Christianity that she didn’t.
