So because this verse supports you Capitalist beliefs, that makes Capitalism ordained by Jesus? Guess what, that verse sounds pretty socialist to me. People who work less than others get the same share; sounds like socialism. It certainly adheres to my socialist beliefs; that everyone deserves an equal piece of the pie and to spread the wealth around.
I love how this article references Matthew 20:1-15, purposefully leaving out the very next verse: “So the last shall be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.” You accuse liberals of cherry-picking articles, but you do it too. In order to make Jesus sound Capitalist, you have to cherry-pick articles. If you read the whole thing, Jesus is made to sound very socialist; with some capitalist ideas mixed in.
