fatherof3, you do have problem. It’s called lack of self control. I can see chocolate and want it so bad I can taste it and start shaking a little. Sometimes I have it, sometimes I don’t. The deciding factor is not do I want it, it’s does it fit in with today’s eating already done? Today’s exercise level?

Obviously you have absolutely no vices and deal with your anxieties in ways that are entirely healthy and socially acceptable. Everyone should applaud momof3 for her being an exceptional human being and a perfect mother!

When you know what it’s like to compulsively eat 4,000 calories and feel such heart-wrenching guilt that you starve yourself for weeks or shove your fingers down your throat, then you can judge whether someone eats because they have no self-control. Judge his parenting skills all you want, but do not jump to conclusions about what is a legitimate eating disorder, and stop being so ignorant.
