If the majority of Americans believe that marriage is a religious institution, then gays should get over it and go for civil unions. My wife and I are somewhat offended by the fact that gays don’t consider civil unions, which we have, good enough. Also some gays intentionally make a mockery of marriage to purposely rub heterosexuals noses in the fact that gays are more equal.
