It is so easy to blame a “race” for the actions of a few. If the majority of whites hated blacks, or discriminated against them, Obama wouldn’t be running for President nor would black Hollywood celebrities, athletes, etc. be millionaires. Rev. Wright’s diatribe was an eye opener for me. A man of the cloth spewing hatred. Amazing! Imagine sitting in his church for twenty years listening to this! I think the vast majority of “whites” have blown past racial hatred BUT will not vote for a man who continues to bring up his blackness and the “differences” of blacks and whites. We all want the same things in life. He and his wife should speak of coming together, of our need to achieve prosperity for our country. The time has come for African Americans to look at their own and intervene to stop the killing of black men by black men, to promote lawfulness, education, family, marriage and jobs. Black men need to be held responsible for raising their children, for setting a good example. No more idolizing “gangsta” type behavior. Bill Cosby may be unpopular for telling the truth with the black community, but he’s a hero in my eyes for speaking out and offering a solution.
