Historically, poor and working class folks vote Democrat. And there are very many more working class and poor people than there are rich people. Therefore, logic dictates that poor and working class folk are more easily bribed and intimidated. Creeping around polling stations in poor and minority districts and intimidating and bribing those voters is a time-honored tradition for Democrats, because they can claim that they are being objective observers when in fact they are just trying to scare and bribe legitimate voters whom they suspect will vote Republican. Therefore, Democrats have a vested interest in suppressing the poor and working class.
