Did Mr. Smith see the same movie I saw this weekend? I thought the overall message of the film, as well as the ending, was quite hopeful and upbeat. And the mini-art history lesson during the ending credits (you have to pay attention!) was a nice touch. Although kids might not understand it without adult help.
During the climax the theater, which included several small children, was ABSOLUTELY SILENT–a sign that we were all caught up in the moment, from seniors to youngsters. That’s not an easy thing to do!
