The reverse sexism in evidence on this thread is astounding. Largely, the women have absolutely no empathy with this male victim of coerced sex, but if their bosses at the office hit them up this way, well, there would be hell to pay, lawyers to pay, and the justice system may even exact its pound of flesh too. What a sick, damned society we’ve become when the moral imagination is stunted this way. O.K., let me get this straight: only women can claim rape as a crime.
If I were not a happily married man, I think otherwise I’d want to be a monk, given the overall ethical I.Q. of so many women out there now.

By the way, many years ago before I met my wife and before I had left the Jesuit seminary, my wife was nearly date-raped by a wealthy Saudi male in Washington, D.C.
