It’s sad that in this day and time people are still mislead. They continue to be a part of the masses and they never think for themselves. Just because you say that you don’t like what policy makers are doing doesn’t mean that you don’t love your country. For that matter what does it mean for one to “love their country?” Does it mean that you love everything and everyone in it? Does it mean that you love the government? Does it mean that you agree with everything that goes on in the country?? No! You can disagree with things, people, policies and polititians without hating them. I’m sure you often disagree with your spouse, you family, and your kids but that doesn’t make you love them any less.
In all actuality your fears, your hopes, your beliefs will impact your feelings. If you already don’t like black people or the thought of them being a president then there is no amount of evidence that will make you change your mind. You’re going to scrutinize and over-analyze EVERY SINGLE statement, every thesis, every piece of information that you get. TheBottom line is that MOST black people aren’t racist. We don’t hold up flags or wear sheets or discriminate but we do recognize the differences in culture. Unfortunately there is a lack of understanding by many whites who live in predominately white neighborhoods who have no day to day contact with black people. If they did they’d see that there are all kinds of black people just as there are all kinds of white people. There are gang-bangers, rioters, theives and liars but there are also mothers, doctors and lawyers and teachers. Unfortunately, all you see on television and in the newspaper are the theives, gangsters etc so you believe that ALL black people act that way. There isn’t enough diversity in representation of black people. If we can change the way that black people are seen then we can change the way the world sees us. Not as black or white but human.
