If someone is going to vote based on dog ownership, you have a stupid voter, especially with a politician with kids who are allergic. After all, there is no “hypoallergenic” dog unless you develop a genetic engineered hairless dog. I guess if dog ownership is a prerequisite for office, you disqualify every postal worker – who are mistaken for Klingons by dogs.
