Kwame Madden appears to be a black Muslim, at least based on his name, who also must use an English translation of the Qur’an, as do MOST Muslims in the whole world, since only about 10 to 15% of Muslims are actually Arab speakers and most of those cannot speak the classical Arabic of the Qur’an.
Is Mr. Madden claiming that his much used translation is not a proper-scholarly one?
Perhaps Mr. Madden should take the Islamic terrorists to task for quoting the Qur’an “out of context” and then acting upon those quotes?
As to democracy: If Mr. Madden is so against it then he should move to an Islamic country where sharia reigns and capitalism is only for the leaders while the people live in abject poverty and ignorance. He could convince those people that they really should stay in the lands of Islam instead of trying to emigrate from their nations to the West by the hundreds of millions.
