… you say “Buster-Keaton style slapstick” like ti was somehow a bad thing. In case you hadn’t noticed, animated features generally work at their absolute best when they rely on wordless slapstick instead of dialogue. I refer you to Road Runner, Tom and Jerry, “What’s Opera, Doc?”, et al.
