Sure. The first trial of Captain Dreyfus ‘proved’ him guilty. So did every other trial, until the last one. He was not guilty.
Why should we believe anything organized by an entity which should be seen as an ally of the organization (the L.V.P.D.) suspected in a case of unjustified lethal force? Clark County’s D.A. is very possibly guilty of being an accessory after the fact.
Let’s see the tapes. Let’s hear the phone and radio communications. If those are no longer available, then we can ASSUME that they were made useless by those who have them in their possession. And we can ASSUME that they were guilty of unjustified lethal force, and an attempt to cover it up.
