People criticizing Obama forget that he has supported Israel openly several times when it wasn’t something that added to his political strength. Those that have a problem accepting that an African American with an Arab name can sort out right from wrong in the Middle East simply are suffering from paranoia after too long a history of persecution and those that are worried about the Reverend Wright, don’t understand the basics of the African American community. Obama’s relationship with him is no different than Hillary Clinton’s friendship with Jessie Helms. In the end Obama is the strongest supporter of Israel since Scoop Jackson and he deserves to be acknowledged as such.
