Thanks for the article. Indeed, I think that the German Government is paying too high subsidies. By the way, historically also German investments in Hollywood movie production could receive a special tax deduction which I found very doubtful as well.

However, I think your article lacks two important informatios:

1) How much are the subsidies in other countries, for example the UK? Are they at the same level? Less?
2) You picked out a handful of movies for which you concluded that political bias was created. How does this compare to other movies being supported in Germany?
