American Hero: Coates Negates a Year of Justice Department Spin on New Black Panther Case
The only comment I will make here about voting rights is -
I am a white woman, registered unaffiliated voter.
I truly invite the New Black Panthers to stand in front of me at my polling place and try to intimidate me to vote their way. I also extend this invitation to any Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians or Tea Party members – anybody.
I will go into that booth. You cannot put fear in me. I will cast my ballot as I believe, and as is as my right.
To stop me, you will have to physically hurt me badly or kill me. And if this should be the case, I hope that someone has a video camera running.
My gloves are off. Come on – I dare any of you.
Intimidation at the voting booth by anyone – repeat ANYONE OF ANY COLOR – should not be arbitrarily dismissed by our government because they fear they might offend someone. By trying to intimidate voters, me for example, they DO deserve to be offended.
