I agree with the majority of the above comments.
Tanfa: I’m also an avid Jay fan. I definitely have to give him my admiration for his high level of maturity through this whole scandal.
When he got The Tonight Show back, he definitely showed maturity by putting the scandal aside, and simply worked his hardest (like he always did/still does) to win back the audience. And it’s working. He’s still number one.
Jay could have whined about getting the show back, and everything else that’s happened. But he didn’t. He came back to The Tonight Show pumped, fierce and ready to go. And that’s what made it work for him. I think he’s doing an excellent job building the audience back up.
I also agree with Muriel: Demographics mean nothing. I keep hearing people say Leno is for people 50 and older. I’m 17 and I enjoy Leno very much.
For the record, I hate Conan with a passion. I’m neutral with Letterman and Ferguson and all the others.
