Whether it is a religion of peace, a religion of hate, a religion of satan (huh?) of whatever, is totally irrelevant – all religions are based on irrefutable power of the clergy over the people.
The true danger of islam lies in the fact that it is a theocratic ideology aiming at world domination and is being treated a ‘merely religion’ by the governments of the west.
If islam were recognised as a political world view there would be no question of a ‘community centre’ at ground zero or special privileges or excusing violence.
The danger of islam is that IT IS NOT A RELIGION!
I don’t really care who worships what, but when an apartheid-based fascism hides under the guise of ‘religion’ or even ‘minority racism’ I get pissed off.
