That “kick off” to the general election: Obama saying “they’re going to make you afraid — his funny name — did I mention he’s black…” or words to that effect —
Made me think of his “kick off” to the primary race: Michelle and Barack on a sofa in their first televised interview (60 Minutes?) where she said, “And you know Barack’s a black man. He can get shot just going to the gas station.” And Barack just sort of looking like, “Aw shucks, Michelle, I’m sure glad you know how tough it is to be me…”
They’re still writing Michelle’s new script. Barack had to remind us all this time.
