There are many good reasons for Jews to vote Democratic, Obama isn’t one of them.
Bush has been terrible for Israel. His pushing on a settlement with people who continually insist that Israel shouldn’t exist is an incredible lack of leadership. If he had just insisted that the Palestinians affirm the right of Israel to exist, which are mere words, before any positive action is taken things would be different.
So the argument that republicans are better for Israel has been totally destroyed by this administration. I believe McCain would be better but there is so much blind and justified hating of the republicans that Jews don’t see the disaster Obama will be.
