Christal: Your right! Some black people were murdered, raped, etc (I assume you mean by whites). However, whites were and are still being murdered, and raped daily by blacks; in much larger numbers. So do not use that as an argument because it doesn’t hold water. However, your statement about God avenging those who have been wronged does, so keep that in mind.
Second, stop victimizing yourself! You and many others love to be victims because that is all you learn in many churches and schools. Blaming racism is just an excuse for failure. Most, if not all, successful minorities will say hard work is the secret to success; not blaming whitey. Stop blaming everyone but yourself. Doing so is in itself, well racist.
If any minority failure is the white man’s fault, then why (in my opinion) was black family structure and black people in general stronger prior to the 1960s? At that time, white on black racism was very rampant. So digest this fact: Today, blacks are far more free and more than equal opportunity today but they are (in my opinion) weaker today than they were in 1960? Racism was more back then but they were stronger. So again, stop victimizing yourself and stop blaming others. Instead of being part of the problem, start being part of the solution and help stop racism and help being an understanding of the real race issues.
