Dreams from his Father: Obama as Petulant Anticolonialist
It is rather strange that Obama, with his ideas of government, democracy and socialism, would rise to the White House just as socialist Europe is unraveling and just as some of the very third world nations he’s trying to give some justice to, for example Vietnam, Brazil and South Africa et al, are coming around to democracy and an open economy and beginning to succeed.
While he may very well hold the views described here in Mr. Preston’s article, it seems there is one other trait we’ve discovered about Mr. Obama…. He can’t seem to readjust his mindset upon receiving new information.
We’re all watching the nations of Europe take drastic measures to save themselves from the equivalent of bankruptcy because of the same policies Mr. Obama is now preaching. And we’re all watching Brazil, South Africa and others continue to move towards democracy and an open economy and grow because they are moving away from the policies that have held them back for so many years, largely the same policies that Mr. Obama is now trying to put in place here.
I guess this makes Obama either delusional, a true ideologue who can see nothing but HIS way or the man is so arrogant that he believes he can put a socialist system in place here even though no other nation around the world who has tried, has managed to thrive under these ideas.
Yes, we definitely should have gotten to know the man, his ideas and plans before electing him. Hopefully, the American people won’t make this mistake again.
