Adams was elected to the House in 1830 as a “National Republican”.
He was re-elected in 1833 and 1834 as an “Anti-Masonic” candidate.
(In those days, Congress rarely met before December of the odd-numbered year, so many states elected Representatives in the spring of odd year; that is what Massachusetts did in 1833.)
From 1836 through 1846, Adams was elected as a Whig.
