No, Professor Ahmed, the Founders Were Not So Fond of Islam
Akbar Ahmed isn’t a professor at AN American university, he’s a professor AT American University. It’s a private school in Washington, D.C. that caters to the “diverse” international viewpoints and liberal dogmas (much like UC Berkeley only much, much worse). Not only is he a professor, he is, as Ms. Rubenfeld mentions, the Chair of the Islamic Studies Department. So of course they don’t care about his credentials; he’s Muslim, and he’s been on CNN. That cements it. His contract will be renewed as frequently as he wants it to be.
None of this surprises you, does it? This is another reason I don’t watch “The Daily Show”; because Jon Stewart has gomers like this on and doesn’t question them at all. A bunch of politically correct bufoons. Useful idiots for the jihad.
