It may not be vanity, but desperation. After all, the economy sucks. She’s gonna need a job.
It’s not like she has real, marketable skills. Same with Crist, perchance. They are professional politicians. As long they hold office, or are campaigning for one, they draw a salary.
The world outside the sinecure of politics is awful big and scary.
