This is the Indonesian newspaper article which quotes someone as saying he was a muslim but converted to marry.
“Barry masuk ke SD Fransiskus Asisi pada 1 Januari 1968 dan duduk di kelas 1B. Agama Barry yang tertulis dalam dokumen itu adalah Islam. ”
It says that the religion listed in his school registration is Islam.
“Barry dulu memang beragama Islam. Ayah kandungnya, Barack Husein Obama adalah seorang muslim ahli ekonomi asal Kenya. Sebelum menikah dengan Ann Dunham, Husein Obama telah menikah dengan orang Kenya dan mendapat
keturunan tujuh anak. Semua saudara sebapak Barry ini beragama Islam.”
Translation- Barry definitely used to be Muslim. His biological father Barack Husein Obama is a muslim economist of Kenyan origin. Before marrying Ann Dunham, he was married to a Kenyan and had seven kids. All Barry’s cousins are Muslim
No offence but if his dad had a first marriage to a Muslim, he has to be Muslim under Islamic law. No mixed marriages allowed. If all his cousins are Muslim it would be a good indication they got it from their Dad. Certainly any Muslim person reading this, would assume Obama is legally Muslim. Being somewhat arrogant, they would also assume his Christian thing was all an act permitted under something called Taqiyya.
Strangely enough the so called ignorant people here are actually just aware
that Islam is inherited and can’t be left except in extreme circumstances.
