Small Sample of Philly Voter Rolls Reveals Hundreds of Ineligible Names
The real question, which you dodge around with a third party anecdote, is how many of these invalid registrations turn into fraudulent votes. Invalid registrations in and of themselves are just lines in a precinct book, they mean nothing until someone tries to vote with them, and this article does not address issues of actual voter fraud. You should also read what the founding fathers wrote about and did in Philadelphia (both in 1776 and 1787). They did not create any such “right to vote”, in fact, all of the states at the time restricted voting to white men with property, usually over the age of 21. It would take 3 constitutional amendments (the 15th, 19th, 26th) over the centuries to expand suffrage. If you want to keep the voting rolls as “pure” as the founding fathers envisioned like you suggest, I can think of a number of people that may object.
