If you don’t accept the premise that the GB rally was attended almost only by white people, then I would suggest that you take a closer look at the photos that YOU included with your article. And if that does not convince you, try watching the video coverage of Fox “News”.
Your point that white males are a minority is laughable. White people make up 2/3 of this country. Yes there are more women than men here but for the purposes of common sense, I’m not referring to men as a minority. In federal and state affirmative action programs, emphasis is placed on assisting minorities and women. The distinction is made because women are not a minority. What you do not seem to understand (because you didn’t ask but should be obvious) is that when I write about minorities, I’m referring to Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Native Americans.
Additionally, your comment that “your notion of who a ‘minority’ is that counts seems curiously flexible” is completely false. I’ve been completely consistent in who I believe a minority is. I actually surprised that I should need to explain that to you since it’s such a simple matter of common sense. Honest debate requires that the individuals involved need to be honest. It would seem that you do not have an adult relationship with the truth.
Finally, on the issue of facts, I stated earlier that my observations were based on photos provided by YOU and video provided by Fox “News”. I asked you to provide photos and video that contradict that evidence if you can. So will you be able to do so?
