Qazi, You present quite a litany of “crimes” commited by so called christians. Firstly, Adolf Hitler was not christian, he was the head of neo-pagan racial cult. If Hitler worshiped anyone, it was Siegfried or Hermann or Wagner, not God or Allah. Both sides, Christians and Muslims can play this circular game of who blames who. Spain was ruled by Gothic Christians before the Muslim invasion in the 8th century I believe. So couldn’t the Reconquista and Inquistion that expelled the Muslims be justified because Spain was christian first? You see my point, I could go through every single one of your charges and do the same thing. But that would accomplish nothing. What matters now is that a minority of fundamentalist Muslims wish to reconquer and impose their worldview on first other muslims, and then the whole world at large. They don’t want peaceful coexistence and they don’t want to negotiate because of their religous zeal. The vast majority of those killed in “self-defense” in Iraq and Afghanistan are other muslims who disagree with their agenda. That is why the west will fight and oppose Islamic radicalism, not for some Neo-Imperial dream or a desire to control the lives of others.
