If I understand what you’re saying, while your heart wants to be in the right place, isn’t your avowal basically racial in nature? (I’m not saying “racist”, but perhaps racialist race-obsessed). Exactly why would you support a black “over their white rivals any day”? Perhaps I am just misreading your post. If not, I think this is an illustration why so many whites voted for this incompetent man in such large numbers. Having been unjustly lashed their entire lifetimes with the “recast!” smear, many white voters were, on some deep level, eager to prove they weren’t in fact racists. In the process, they chose to make their vote on the basis of obama’s skin color above other criteria. This was a tragedy for America, and a tragedy for those whites who did it.
So the decades-long concerted and relentless abuse of most of the white people in this country by Big Media, the elite Left, and the entire black grievance industry (exemplified by Jackson, Sharpton, NAACP, etc.), had the effect of coercing many whites, through that intimidation, to prove their non-racist bona-fides by voting for a candidate because he was black, despite his obvious shortcomings as a candidate.
I saw early what Obama was and started warning my many liberal friends and family members at the beginning, but to no avail. But where I could clearly see a sinister huckster who would gravely harm America, they saw otherwise. Their indoctrination with the anti-white meme of universal white racism was complete. Even today, some of them still believe that opposition to this hideous hideous man must be a manifestation of racism. Others are beginning to see the light.
When Holder said “certain subjects are off-limits and that to explore them risks at best embarrassment and at worst the questioning of one’s character”, I doubt he comprehended that incessant black indictments of white character through endless accusations of “Racism!” are among the main reasons why discussions of race are off limits and embarrassing for whites. Ironically, it’s the verbal abuse by blacks and the media and others against whites with constant smears and insults which places this topic in the no-go zone in America today. The dysfunctional system that has arisen through the rise and enshrinement of the black shakedown and blame industry is what elected this destructive anti-American creature.
