Freedom isn’t free. Except when Americans expend their blood and treasure for you. And yes some Iraqis have stepped up – notably the Kurds. It will be 100 years before we know if 4000 of our sons (and $ billions) were worth it. Now it’s time for Iraqis to pay up. They’ve got oil which means they’ve got $. They’ve got improve infrastructure and trained soldiers and police. Hell, they’ve got it way better than the Japanese or Germans did after WW2 or the Koreans did. And yeah they’ve got a bad neighbor in Iran. We’re not completely gone away either. Quit asking for more.
