I love all the speculation about the GOP Presidential nominee. I’ve been following it since the day after the 2008 election.
First, I have to say this. Sarah Palin will not run. I know there are millions of people who would like to see her run, but nobody has ever been able to give me a single reason why should would want to run. She’s been enjoying her celebrity status and all the nice green money she’s been making since she got out of politics. Why would she turn her back on all of that? Sarah knows that if she ran for President she would have to give speeches for free. Right now she makes about $50,000 a pop for speaking engagements. Running for president is hard work and involves speaking to a hostile press. No, Sarah isn’t going to run and if I’m wrong I promise to spend most of 2012 admitting it.
Now, to my choice to replace her.
The GOP needs a beautiful woman with perfect conservative credentials. Someone who excites the base. Someone who has shown that she’s not afraid to speak her mind and the liberal press be darned. Someone with experience in Washington who is not a part of the Washington establishment either inside or outside the GOP.
In other words……..
